State of the art Mercedes service facility inaugurated

Chennai, Jul 7 (UNI) Trans Car India, authorised dealers of Mercedes-Benz passenger vehicles in the city, today inaugurated a state-of-the-art service facility to cater to growing clientele.

Dr Wilfried Aulbur, Managing Director and CEO of DaimlerChrysler India, the manufacturer of Merceds-Benz cars, told reporters that the market for Mercedes-Benz was showing a consistent increase in South India and Chennai and had contributed significantly to the growth.

He said the state-of-the-art workshop of Trans Car India reflected the AutoHaus Concept as per the new International Dealer Standards of DaimlerChrysler AG.

The workshop was the first in the country to have implemented the company's latest 'Global Corporate Identity' guidelines.

The Corporate Identity was not only restricted to the signage but also included the colour scheme, illumination and even the furniture in the reception area, he said.

Dr Aulbur said DaimlerChrysler had a strong and ISO certified network in 24 cities across India. As many as 1,050 cars had been sold till June this year, he added.
