Professional Colleges Act detrimental to society: E J John

Kottayam, July 7 (UNI) National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions Co-ordinator E J John today opined that the Kerala Professional Colleges Act was against the educational rights of the minorities and generally detrimental to the interest of the society.

In a statement here, Prof John, who is also a member of the Inter-Church Educational Council and Minority Rights Protection Council, contended that the Act was generally against human resource development and the recent achievements of the State in the professional education sector.
