Portugal's Miguel ruled out of third place match

MADRID, July 7: Portugal defender Miguel will miss the World Cup third place match against Germany tomorrow through injury.

Miguel's club side Valencia said on Friday the player would be sidelined for a month. The 26-year-old right back sustained a partial tear of the medial ligament in his right knee during Portugal's 1-0 defeat by France in Wednesday's semi-final.
