New Business hotel, Ista launched by IHHR

Bangalore, Jul 7: IHHR Hospitality Private Limited today launched Ista, a new brand of business hotels to spring up across the country with the first one opening here.

With an investment of Rs 500 Crores, IHHR Hospitality would be opening hotels in Amritsar, Ahmedabad, Pune and Hyderabad besides Bangalore.

Ista, a premier business hotel was the first of its kind in the country focusing on the needs of a business traveller, Company Chairman Gautam Khanna told newsmen here.

He said the 143 room and suites hotel here was built to international standards.

The Group would also be managing a destination Spa in Mauritius built at a cost of 35 million dollars and funded by Non Resident Indians.

It would soon start construction in Hyderabad for a Spa and a business Hotel. The Spa would also have a training institute first of its kind in South East Asia offering training to manpower for managing Spas.

Mr Khanna said ''With Ananda in the Himalayas, we pioneered the concept of destination spas in India and built it into a successful global brand. We want to repeat the success with Ista by building world's best hotels for business travellers'' he added.
