Mumbai, July 7 (UNI) City lad Ramesh Powar, along with pacers Irfan Pathan and Munaf Patel, returned home after a successful West Indies tour, in which India beat the hosts on their home soil for the first time in 35 years.

Also arriving with the three players were two of the support staff members - Bio-mechanist Ian Frazer and physical trainer Gregory King.

Other players took different flights to reach their home towns, while captain Rahul Dravid stayed back in London to play a charity match on July 10.

All the three players who arrived, however, did not speak to the media present at the airport.

India, during their tour of West Indies, scored a historic Test series victory winning the four match series 1-0, but lost the preceding five match one-day international series 1-4.
