Mahindra World City Developers promote Anita Arjundas as COO

Mumbai, July 7 (UNI) Ms Anita Arjundas has been elevated to the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Mahindra World City, India's first Special Economic Zone in Chennai developed by Mahindra Group.

Announcing this, a Mahindra release said Ms Arjundas has been instrumental in attracting an impressive array of brands like Infosys, BMW and Shell leading to the Chennai World City becoming a respected benchmark.

A business management post-graduate from BIM, Trichy, Ms Arjundas has 18 years of professional experience. She joined the Mahindra Group in 2002 as Vice-President, Marketing, for Mahindra World City (Mahindra World City Developers Limited). She is also Director on the Board of Ascendas Mahindra IT Park Ltd - an IT Park being developed within the Mahindra World City SEZ.

She started her corporate career as a Management Trainee in the Murugappa Group with Parrys Confectionery Limited (now Lotte Confectionery) and went on to head the marketing function.
