Dead body found near Golden Temple, 3 others found in city

Amritsar, Jul 7 (UNI) The body of a youth was found in the 'galiara' of the Golden Temple in the holy city today.

The body, with a slit throat, was found hidden among plants on the backside of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) office. The word 'Shashi' was tatooed on one of the arms, police said.

Meanwhile, three other unidentified bodies were recovered in the the district.

Two middle-aged rickshaw pullers were found dead at two different places in the city. They reportedly succumbed to extreme heat conditions in the region.

One decomposed body was recovered near a drain in Verka town , police said.
