188 villages to be included in Gr Noida phase II
Lucknow, June 7 (UNI) In pursuance to its earlier announcement, Uttar Pradesh government has issued notification for developing Greater Noida phase II comprising of 188 villages.
A decision to launch phase II was taken by chief minister Mulayam Singh Yadav in view of the success of the hi-tech township of Greater Noida for promoting industrial activities in UP.
According to the notification, 22 villages of two tehsils namely Sikandrabad and Bulandshahar of Bulandshahr district, 86 villages of two tehsils namely Sadar and Hapur of Ghaziabad district and 80 villages of Dadri tehsil of Gautam Budhnagar would be included in the Greater Noida phase II.
The state cabinet has already approved the same.
The issues related to acquisition of villages and compensation to the residents would be taken up as soon as the blue print for the development is decided, an official spokesman said here today.
