TNCA to refund one third of abandoned ODI's ticket price

Chennai, Jul 6 (UNI) The Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) will refund one third of the ticket price issued for the third India-South Africa ODI on November 22, 2005, which was abandoned due to bad weather.

A TNCA release here today said, in accordance with the order of the Division Bench of the Madras High Court, one third of the price of the ticket would be refunded on surrendering the original ticket.

In respect of the subsidised tickets, one third refund will be made only on the amount received by the TNCA on such sales and not the face value.

The refund in cash would be given at the TNCA office, M A Chidambaram Stadium from July 10 to 31 from 1400 hrs to 1800 hrs, the release added.
