Syndicate Bank lowers interest rate on farm loans

Bangalore, July 6 (UNI) The public sector Syndicate Bank today slashed its interest rate on crop production loans to farmers to seven per cent.

The Bank, in a release here, said that the Bank would issue loans at seven per cent upto Rs three lakhs in compliance with the directives issued by the Government of India.

The Bank has also reduced the interest rate to seven per cent on loans granted for crop production upto Rs three lakhs sanctioned against the security of Jewels with immediate effect.
