NRRs to set up Rs 40 cr heart centre in Jaipur

Jaipur, July 6 (UNI) A heart centre costing Rs 40 crore will be set up here with the help of Non-Resident Rajasthanis (NRR).

This was announced at the Rajasthan Association of North America (RANA) conference being held at Long Island, New York which is being attended by Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje.

The first state-of-the-art heart centre will be set up in Jagatpura area over 7,600 square feet area and will be completed within 2-3 years.

NRR and heart surgeon Dr Samin Sharma said the Chief Minister's appeal to come forward to help their motherland, made them come up with such a project.

Another NRR Sushil Goyal has announced the construction of a five star hotel and a shopping mall of Rs 130 crore. The hotel will be located near Jawahar Circle - city's premier area.

The NRRs have already promised Rs 2 crore funds for the mid-day meal scheme.
