IDBI inagurates its Old Panvel branch in Maharashtra

Mumbai, July 6 (UNI) The Industrial Development Bank of India's (IDBIs) old Panvel branch at Panvel city, about 60 km from Mumbai, was inaugurated by Chairman and Managing Director V P Shetty.

The branch, which also has an on-site ATM is located at Moreshwar Sadan Plot no 35, MCCH Housing Society Limited, a release issued here said.

Speaking on the occasion Mr Shetty said, ''The Old Panvel branch would be the second branch of IDBI in Panvel and 37th overall in Maharashtra state. With the commissioning of this branch, IDBI now operates through a network of 180 branches, four extension counters and 396 ATM's spread across 103 cities.'' The old Panvel branch is fully computerized, operates on the Finacle Core Banking Solution platform and is equipped with the requisite infrastructure to structure and deliver complete financial solutions and personalized banking services both on the assests and the liabilities side.

The bank plans to ramp up its branch network to 500 by March-end 2008, the release said.
