16-yr-old girl falls from building in Jankpuri

New Delhi, July 6 (UNI) A 16-year-old girl today fell from a multi-storey building in Janakpuri in West Delhi, the third such incident in the area in the last one month.

Prachi, a class XII student of Shanti Gyan Niketan in Nazafgarh, fell from the DDA Tower No 2 in the district centre complex in Janakpuri at 1942 hrs, police said.

She has been admitted to a nearby hospital, they said.

Prachi was a resident of Uttam Nagar. Inquiry is on about whether the girl jumped from the building or was pushed down by somebody.

A few weeks ago, a girl, Neha Kakkar, died after falling from a multi-storey tower in the area.

Yesterday morning, Kartik Swamy (24) died after he jumped down from the fourth floor of Vishwadeep tower in the district centre.
