Vinoo Mankad Trophy for U-19 begins on Oct 5 in AP

Vijayawada, July 4 (UNI) The Under-19 South Zone League Tournament for Vinoo Mankad Trophy would be held at Visakhapatnam from October 5 to 11.

Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) General Secretary N Venkat Rao said the South Zone Fixtures Committee meeting held at Chennai decided to allot some of the matches to the association for 2006-07.

Meanwhile, Andhra will host the elite 'A' group Under-17 Vijay Merchant League matches at visakhapatnam from December 5 to 27.

He said Andhra will also be hosting South Zone K S Subbaiah Pillai Trophy one-day limited over league matches at RDT Stadium in Anantapur from February 10 to 16 next year.

The ACA also finalised the Matrix Lab-ACA Inter Zonal Tournaments for 2006-2007, he added.
