Vehicle Inspector in AP dismissed

Hyderabad, Jul 4 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh Government today dismissed V Dharma Rao from service following a departmental inquiry based on an Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) report.

ACB in a release here today said Mr Rao was Motor Vehicle Inspector and incharge-officer of the Transport checkpost at Madnoor in Nizamabad district.

The ACB had registered a case against Mr Rao following a surprise inspection at the checkpost on July 23, 1999. The sleuths found unaccounted money of Rs 8,690 from the checkpost counter, the release added.
