Ultra and two of his family members killed

Latehar, July 4 (UNI) A former self-styled area commander of banned outfit MCC (Maoist Communist Centre), his brother along with wife were killed at Kadragarh village under Balumath police station last night in Jharkhand's Latehar district.

Official sources here said the killers slit the throats of the ultra, identified as Chotu Ganjhu, his brother and sister-in-law.

The incident had been attributed to inter-gang rivalry among the MCC and their former associates.

Chotu was released from jail last month and he was planning to join the new group, a conglomerate of the rebels from the MCC.
