Traffic diverted on two lanes of Pune-Mumbai Expressway

Pune, July 4 (UNI) Traffic has been disrupted since last night and three lanes closed on the Pune-Mumbai Expressway following a landslide near Amritranjan Bridge near Khandala, Lonavala.

Highway Police said that traffic was diverted and moving on two lanes of the Mumbai-Pune Expressway and one lane on the Pune-Mumbai expressway of the total six lanes. ''A boulder and big stones are obstructing the traffic, and officials from the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation(MSRDC) are working to clear the road by evening,'' informed S B Sonawane of the highway control room.

Meanwhile, many parts of the city have been water logged especially the low lying areas including Aundh, Khadki, Pimpri-Chinchwad.
