Three youths drown in Antharagange river

Mysore, July 4 (UNI) Three youths drowned in Antharagange river at M M Hills in Chamarajanagara district of Karnataka, today.

Police said the incident occurred when three youths, Raghu (21), Anand (20), both from Mysore, and Sharat (21) from Bangalore went for a bath in the river.

In all, eleven youths went for a picnic to M M Hills and eight of them went for a bath in a tank near the hills. However, the ill-fated youths went for a bath in the river, despite a ban to enter the river.

The bodies were fished out later.
