Smaller Muslim outfits detrimental to community: SP

Lucknow, July 4 (UNI) Samajwadi Party national general secretary Shahid Siddiqui today claimed formation of smaller Muslim outfits was not in the interest of the community.

Addressing a news conference here, Mr Siddiqui said in the run up to the elections, various political parties facilitated emergence of trifle Muslim outfits with an eye on the Muslim vote bank.

''These outfits do not augur well for the community and are detrimental to their interest,'' he maintained.
