Science city spends Rs 1 crore for more exhibits

KOLKATA, Jul 04 (UNI) National Council of Science Museum (NCSM) has invested Rs 1 core for revamping Kolkata Science City and increasing the number of exhibits.

Announcing this to reporters here today, NCSM Director General Ingit Mukherjee said that similar plans have been chalked out for 27 science centres across the country.

" We are planning to modernise and increase the number of exhibits in all science centres with special focus on Kolkata, Bangalore, Chennai and Mumbai", he said.

The council has also got an order to export Indian exhibits to Tanzania and Turkey.
