Mould students to serve society: IG CRPF
Hyderabad, Jul 4 (UNI) Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Southern Sector Inspector General C Balasubramanian today said that students should be moulded to serve the society.
Speaking at the Raising Day Celebrations of the CRPF Public School at Jawaharnagar near here, he stressed the need to develop leadership qualities among the students, so that they emerge as responsible citizens of the future.
Speaking on the occasion Ms Mallamma, District Educational Officer, Ranga Reddy, called on the students to excel in extra-curricular activities.
She said parents and teachers should provide guidance to the students to ensure that they move in the right path.
crpf Deputy Inspector General and Manager of the school Gautam Sawang said the strength of the school which was 37 in 1996 had increased to 820 in 2006.
The school celebrated 'Vanamahotsav' to mark the Raising Day.
Around 200 saplings were planted on the occasion.
