Mineral Production in May'06 higher than May'05

New Delhi, July 4 (UNI) The total value of mineral production covering metalliferrous and industrial minerals, excluding fuel, minor and atomic minerals in May 2006 is estimated at Rs 1349 crores as against Rs 1087 crore for May 2005.

The total value of these minerals in April 2006 was estimated at Rs 1061 crore, said an official release issued here today.
