Man held on complaint from wife

Kancheepuram, Jul 4 (UNI) A 21-year-old man was arrested today based on a complaint from his wife.

Police said Prasad and Thenmozhi, both residents of Arpakkam, got married a week ago.

Suddenly, Prasad wanted Thenmozhi to remove her 'mangalsutra' promising to pay her Rs one lakh.

Thenmozhi preferred a complaint with the all-women's police station here following which Prasad was arrested.
