LIC Kottayam Division makes record collection

Kottayam, July 4 (UNI) The Kottayam division of the Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) of India has made a record collection of over Rs 100 crore through the sale of Unit Linked Insurance Plans (ULIPs), Future Plus and Jeevan Plus during the last two months, Senior Division Manager, Sridharan today said.

Talking to reporters here, he said Rs 100 crore new business premium would be collected through sale of Jeevan Tarang in the next two months.

Jeevan Tarang was suitable for the young and the old with entry age from zero to 60. Being a whole life plan, the product was priced very attractively. The premium paid and benefits received had tax concessions as per existing Income Tax rules, he said.
