Legislature proceeding continue despite heavy downpour

Mumbai, July 4 (UNI) Despite heavy downpour since last evening, the proceedings of both houses of legislatures started as per schedule.

While the proceedings of the legislative assembly started at 1200 hours and the council from 1300 hrs, the attendance of mediapersons was scanty since most of them could not make it to the Vidhan Bhavan due to cancellation of suburban trains.

Mantralaya and other government offices are functioning with about seventy per cent attendance as some of the employees reached in the offices early morning itself.
