Jammu, July 4 (UNI) The strike by lawyers in Jammu region demanding transfer of the high profile sex scandal case from Srinagar to the winter capital today entered the seventh day.

The excutive body meeting of the Jammu Bar Association was held this morning and it was decided to continue the agitation till their demand was accepted.

The lawyers were absent from court proceedings of the High Court as well as lower courts. Advocates started on indefinite strike last Wednesday against the denial of right of defence and threat issued to lawyers in Srinagar while representing their accused in the sex racket case.

The Kashmir Bar Association (KBA) in Srinagar has declared that no lawyer would be allowed to plead the case of the accused.
