K'taka DGP bereaved

Bangalore, July 4 (UNI) Ms Amarjit Kaur, mother of Karnataka Director General of Police B S Sial, passed away in Lucknow rpt Lucknow today following a brief illness.

She was 89. She is survived by three sons, including Mr Sial, and five daughters.

Mr Sial's father, Balwanth Singh Sial, former Director of Education, Uttar Pradesh, had died in 1983.
