Bangalore July 4 (UNI) Following is a Summary of observations recorded by the weather office here at 0830 hours today.
Rainfall occurred at most places over Coastal Karnataka; at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over North Interior Karnataka.
Very Heavy Rainfall amounts (cm): Kalasa 21; Somwarpet 17; Kammardi, Sringeri 16 each; Hosanagar 13.
Heavy Rainfall amounts (cm): Kundapur, Londa 11 each; Kollur 9; Linganamakki, Madikeri 8 each, Yellapura, Sagar, Belur 7 each.
Other chief rainfall amounts (cm): Subramanya, Gerusoppa, Belgaum City, Thirthahalli, Sakleshpura 6 each; Bantwal, Dharmasthala, Siddapura (Uttara Kannada dt), Jayapura 5 each.
Forecast valid until Thursday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at most places over Coastal Karnataka and at many places over Interior Karnataka.
