Jet doubles fuel surcharge from July 7

New Delhi, July 4 (UNI) Jet Airways has revised fuel surcharge applicable on all types of fares in both economy and executive class tickets on all domestic routes due to rising oil prices.

The revised fuel surcharge of Rs 500 will be applicable on all tickets purchased within and outside India, issued against both rupee and dollar tariffs. This surcharge of Rs 500 will be collected per flight coupon on all domestic routes within India.

For tickets issued outside India, the same will be converted into local currency by using the applicable exchange rate. ''The surcharge has been necessitated in view of the continuing escalation in air turbine fuel (ATF) prices,'' the airline said in a statement.
