Flight schedule affected due to rain
Mumbai, July 4 (UNI) Flight operation at both the domestic and Sahar International Airport at Santacruz in western suburbs have been affected and nearly fifty per cent of regular flights have not landed for last half-an-hour due to poor visibility, official sources here said.
There was no trouble or water logging on the run way while communication as well as the radar system were working fine.
However, the flights are not landing due to turbulent conditions, the sources said, adding that while at least one flight lands at Mumbai airport in every three to four minutes, but, now the rate has been reduced to fifty per cent.
However, authorities expressed hope that normality would be restored soon.
