Finnair to launch direct flight to Delhi

Helsinki, July 4 (UNI) Finnair will launch a direct flight to Delhi from Helsinki on October 30, according to airlines spokesperson Senja Larsen.

Talking to a group of Indian journalists, she said the airline was targetting business travellors with an eye on the emerging Indian market.

It would take six hours and 35 minutes for Finnair to cover the distance between the Finnish capital and the Indian capital.

There will be flights from Helsinki on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from Delhi, she added.

Ms Larsen said Finnair would move to other Indian destinations soon after launching the flight to Delhi.
