Dalit executives to meet in Delhi to chalk out agenda
Kolkata, Jul 04 (UNI) National executive members of Dalit Sena will meet in New Delhi on Thursday to chalk out their future course of action, Sena's national general secretary Prem Nath Gupta said today.
Speaking to UNI here Mr Gupta said the meeting, to be presided over by national president Ram Chandra Paswan(MP), is expected to make plans for uplift of poor and downtrodden and unite them for greater movement in future. It would also dwell on strengthening the organisation at the grassroots level across the country.
LJP supremo and Steel, Fertilizer and Chemical Minister Ram Vilas Paswan would be the chief guest in the one-day meeting in which the members would finalise programme for a rally in Patna on August nine, added Mr Gupta.
He said a rally would be orgainsed at Gandhi Maidan on August 9 in which top CPI leaders have agreed to participate to focus on the plight of the poor people under the Nitish Kumar government in Bihar.
