CB CID arrests two persons in connection with Meenakshi murder case

Tiruchirapalli, Tamil Nadu, July 4 (UNI) In a major breakthrough, State Crime Branch CID (CB CID) police have arrested two persons in connection with the 2004 J Meenakashi murder case at Kulithalai in Karur district.

Addressing a press conference here last night, K Bhavaneeswari, CBCID superintendent of police and investigative officer of the case said the team took up sustained efforts during the last one week and has successfully zeroed in on one A Shanmugavelu (36) of Kulithalai and his associate C Kumar(31) of Marudur village in Kulithalai, yesterday.
