Body of slain militant recovered

Chatra, Jul 4 (UNI) Police today recovered the body of a CPI(maoist) ultra from Kunda police station of Jharkhand's Chatra district.

The deceased, identified as Chandrika Yadav, was killed last night by former members of the naxalite group.

Police said Yadav and his two associates were kidnapped last evening.

While two of the accomplices were released, Yadav was gunned down.

Police said Yadav was a cadre of CPI(maoist) outfit and involved in Baniadih explosion case in which about a dozen policemen had been killed last year.
