Blast in central Gaza caused by grenade-witnesses
GAZA, July 4 (Reuters) An explosion in central Gaza today was caused by assailants who threw a hand grenade at a car, witnesses said.
They said it appeared to be due to internal Palestinian violence. There were no reports of any casualties.
The Israeli army said it was not aware of any military activity in the area.
Israel has been carrying out air attacks on the Gaza Strip as part of an offensive to force Palestinian militants to free a soldier they captured in a cross-border raid on June 25.
