TN men, women win South India Minister's cup kabaddi titles

Visakhapatnam, July 3 (UNI) Tamil Nadu men and women kabaddi teams won the titles of South India Minister's Cup Kabaddi tournament in the finals played at the Swarnabharathi Indoor Stadium here last night.

Tamil Nadu men trounced Karnataka to lift the cup with 10 points.

Karnataka was runner-up with eight points, while Hyderabad secured third with six points.

Tamil Nadu women won the title defeating Andhra Pradesh 40-37 in the final match.

Andhra pradesh Comercial Taxes and Excise Minister K Ramakrishna gave away the prizes.
