Skoda Auto registers 23.47% growth in sales

New Delhi, July 3 (UNI) Skoda Auto India, a fully owned subsidiary of Skoda Auto , today announced that the company has achieved sales of 989 units in June 2006, registering a growth of 23.47 per cent in sales as compared to 801 units in June last year, a company statement said.

The sales figure includes 58 units of the flagship model Skoda Superb. For the period of first six months of the CY 06 the company sold 6072 units and registered a growth of 49 per cent as against 4077 units last year.

Skoda Auto India, a subsidiary of Skoda Auto, one of leading manufacturers in Europe, has been operating in India since November 2001.
