Sea erosion damages 14 houses in Dakshina Kannada dist
Mangalore, July 3 (UNI) As many as 14 houses have been damaged and another four partially damaged during the last 24 hours due to sea erosion at Ullal in Dakshina Kannada district in Karnataka.
Official sources said alternate arrangements have been made to lodge those who lost their houses.
Intermittent rains continued in the undivided Dakshina Kannada district. Amount of rainfall recorded in Belthangady was (10 cm), Puttur and Sullya (8 each), Karkala 5 cm Bantwal and Udupi 4 cm each.
