Sea erosion: 14 houses fully damaged in Dakshina Kannada dist

Mangalore, July 3 (UNI) As many as 14 houses have been totally damaged and another four partially damaged during the last 24 hours due to sea erosion at Ullal in Dakshina Kannada district of Karnataka.

Official sources said alternate arrangements have been made to lodge those who lost their houses.

Intermittent rains continued in the undivided Dakshina Kannada district. Chief amount of rainfall was recorded in Belthangady (10 cm), Puttur and Sullya (8 each), Karkala (5), Bantwal and Udupi (4 each).
