SCUF Q4 net profit up by 86%

New Delhi, July 3 (UNI) Shriram City Union Finance Ltd (SCUF) today announced an 86 per cent increase to Rs 9.43 crore in the net profit for fourth quarter ending March 31, 2006, as against Rs 5.07 crore during same period last year, and announced a final dividend of 20 per cent.

However, the annual net profit rose by 37.10 per cent to Rs 31.67 crore during this fiscal as against Rs 23.10 crore in FY04-05.

The final dividend, alongwith the interim dividend of 10 per cent paid in December 2005, makes a total payout of 30 per cent as against 25 per cent for previous financial year 2004-05, company release said.

The company has changed its accounting policy as per the latest RBI guidelines, it added.
