Reliance launches 'Hello Capital' in 19 State Capitals

Bangalore, July 3 (UNI) Reliance Communications Limited today launched its 'Hello Capital Plan' to enable its customers to make calls between State Capitals at the local call rate of 40 paise per minute.

Announcing the launch at a video conference here, company President (Wireless) S P Shukla said that under the plan, customers with '32' series numbering plan could make calls at a special tariff of Rs 1.20 per three minutes. All customers, irrespective of post-paid or pre-paid options, would be enjoying the benefits of the plan.

The State capitals which would be connected from midnight tonight included Mumbai, Chennai, Jaipur, Lucknow and Kolkata.

Mr Shukla said 'Reliance Hello Capital' was a step towards shrinking the distance between the 19 State capitals by changing the dynamics of long distance tariffs to local call rates.

To a question, he said ''the plan will be extended to other State Capitals depending upon the response from the customers. We will be studying the response for a month and then decide about extending.'' UNI MSP GD HVB1908
