Rains in south-eastern Rajasthan, evade Jaipur
Jaipur, July 3 (UNI) South-eastern regions of Rajasthan are witnessing rains but the rest of the state is reeling under high temperature and humidity.
A couple died in Bundi, yesterday, when a tree fell on them during the raging dust storm.
The meteorological department said Kota recorded 5.2 mm, Udaipur 22.9, Jhalawar 12 mm and Mount Abu 27.4 mm, Jaipur 2.2 mm and Ajmer 4 mm rains in the last 24 hours. After the dust-storm in Jodhpur, 10.7 mm rains was recorded there.
Jaipur was scorching the whole day and recorded 38.6 degree Celsius. The minimum was 25 degree Celsius.
The met department has predicted rains accompanied by thunder and lightning over the next 24 hours in south-eastern regions of Rajasthan.
