Prakash seeks cooperation of Police Dept
Bangalore, July 3 (UNI) Karnataka Home Minister M P Prakash today assured the police department that he would speak to his Central Government counterpart Shivraj Patil regarding fulfillment of the department's demands.
Addressing senior State police officials on his maiden visit to the Director General of Police's office after assuming charge last month, he sought the cooperation of the Police department and said he would try his best to fulfill the demands.
Lauding the role played by the police force in maintaning law and order in the State, Mr Prakash said 75,000 personnel were striving to maintain peace in the State.
Senior police officials Messrs B S Sial, K R Srinivasan, R Srikumar and Ajai Kumar Singh were present during the Minister's visit.
