Nine feared drowned
Ambikapur, July 3 (UNI) Nine people were feared drowned when the boat ferrying them across the Kanhar river, which forms the natural border between Chhattisgarh's Sarguja and Jharkhand's Gadwa district, capsized this morning.
''The boat was carrying 20 people to Chhattisgarh. Not a single body has been recovered thus far,'' Gadwa's Superintendent of Police Deepak Verma told UNI.
Some of the victims hailed from Chhattisgarh.
