Medical officer chargesheeted

Patna Jul 3 (UNI)CBI today submitted chargesheet in a case of multi crore MSD scam of Bihar before the special CBI court under various sections of Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Prevention of Corruption (PC)act.

Former TB officer of district TB centre, Vaishali, Dr Ranvijay Prasad and two others have been made accused in the chargesheet.

The case related to illegal purchase of medicine worth of several lakhs of rupees from Government Medical Store Depot (GMSD), Kolkata, for use in district TB centre Vaishali during the period 1986-1991.
