Govt strengthens security at Ram temple in Ayodhya
New Delhi, July 3 (UNI) The Centre has taken a number of measures to strengthen security at the Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya in the wake of terrorist attack on the shrine last year.
The Home Ministry had filed an application in the Supreme Court on May 17, detailing some of the ''ad hoc'' measure it has taken.
It has provided a temporary bulletproof steel structure on the four sides of the Ramlala, wooden roof and internal walls. A double wall of steel behind the structure filled with mud will also be installed at the temple.
Moreover, close circuit TV has been fitted, bunkers built and barricades would also be provided to the temple.
