Global Air Chiefs conference to mark IAF platinum jubilee
Bangalore, July 3 (UNI) Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal S P Tyagi today said a global Air Chiefs conference will be held to coincide with the platinum jubilee of the Indian Air Force next year and inauguration of Aero India 2007.
Addressing the annual Commanders' Conference here, he called for a special way to celebrate the IAF's platinum jubilee.
The Air Chief said modernisation of infrastructure was the need of the hour and advised all the Commanders to focus on the issue.
Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief Training Command Air Marshal B N Gokhale announced the opening of an aerospace faculty at Air Force Technical Collage at Jalahalli in the city.
He informed that work for inducting Hawk and the Aero India Show was on schedule and the Training Command was fully geared up to make it a grand success.
