Fodder week celebrations in AP from July 7

Hyderabad, Jul 3 (UNI) The Animal Husbandry Depratment of the Andhra Pradesh government will organise the 37th Fodder Week celebrations throughout the state from July 7 to 14, 2006.

The celebrations was intended to focus the attention of farmers on green fodder production and its utilization as it played a vital role in livestock management.

During the fodder development week, efforts would be made to educate the farmers through Rythu Saddasus, farmers meeting and video shows.

Similarly, fodder seed minikits, fodder trees and saplings would be distributed among the farmers. Field demonstration would also be taken up during the week-long programme, an official release said here today.
