Hyderabad, Jul 3 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Congress Commiittee (APCC) today demanded the opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP) President N Chandrababu Naidu apologise to the State Eection Commission (SEC) for the party activists attack on the SEC office yesterday.

Addressing the press here, APCC Spokesperson N Tulasi Reddy alleged the TDP's attack on the SEC office was 'undemocratic, barbaric and unfortunate given that a political party had attacked a constitutional body which was conducting free and fair elections in the country'.

Alleging that the TDP was indulging in mudslinging on the SEC, state government and Congress by forgetting the facts that more violent incidents were reported during 2001 poll during the TDP regime, Mr Reddy pointed out that six persons were killed in 2001 as against three killed in the present elections.
