Armed struggle required to fight anti-people policies: Sanyal
Guntur,Andhra Pradesh, Jul 3 (UNI) Naxalbari Movement Founder Kanu Sanyal today reiterated that 'armed struggle was necesary to fight anti-people and pro-capitalist policies of the government'.
Speaking at a meet-the-press programme organised by the Andhra Pradesh Union of Working Journalists (APUWJ) here, Mr Sanyal lashed out at the Communist Government in West Bengal accusing it of helping multi-nationals at the cost of farmers and tribals.
Mr Sanyal hit out at the Maoists who were terrorising the poor 'caught between the naxals and the police.' He also ridiculed the CPI(Maoist) dream of establishing a corridor from Nepal to Andhra Pradesh.
He, however, welcomed foreign investment in India but said it should come without stings and provide reservation to the downtrodden.
